Scanner Pistol-Grip

A scanner pistol-grip is an accessory designed to enhance the functionality and usability of handheld scanners.
It typically takes the form of a handle or grip that attaches to the scanner, allowing users to hold the device more comfortably and securely during scanning operations.

 If there is an issue with how this orange "trigger" was manufactured, it could result in a button on the mainboard to break off. If you press the trigger slowly, you should feel a click. If it feels "mushy", then most likely the button is broken. See example below:

Repair is done by BizBloqs free of charge, however, the devices are no longer in production. So, repairs are possible until BizBloqs runs out of parts.


Disabling Scan Handle

This is advisable if clients want to disable the settings for the scan handle. Agents will need to confirm with them first. This can be done via the screen below:

Unchecking that box will disable the pistol grip functionality. It should be checked by default after a factory reset, but that is not always that case.
