Scanner Activation Code

  • Activation code refers to a code used for user authentication. The software can include an activation code or send it to the user's email address or device. 
  • An activation key is a code that is used to register or activate a software application. It is typically composed of numbers, often with hyphens in between activation key segments.
  • Note: If the scanner Device name is existing even if the Device type is different. You cannot use that one. Make a unique new one that does not exist. Example below. 
  • In the future if you need to add 'devices'  for use on PC with the PDT it's best to just create a device with type Scanner and label pc1
  • Since Device name already exists (Yellow) in Scanner Device you cannot use the same Device name with another device type.

PROCESS

  • Reply to the Client by providing the client cost request by asking Alfred (Finance use template). Once agreed. 
  • Check OMS 
  • Setup Device > Click + logo 
  • Check email clients with the details they provide for Device type and Device or (Name) always turn ON the client device.
  • PIN is auto-generated once save = Activation code 
  • Once the account is created tag finance personnel (Nikita and Bianca) for a subscription. 
  • Once completed.
  • Email the client the account created.
