Hardware Scanner Functionalities

  • Terminator – this is added when you scan something (barcode). This is a function or a code that the scanner should do, in this case we have (LF, TAB, TAB & LF)

Step 01 Description of Functionalities

  • LF – LineFeed is just pressing enter when you set this terminator what it does is adding a barcode typing and pressing (enter) at the same time. 
  • TAB – like a function in the keyboard
  • TAB & LF – (Default) this function goes to BACK button.

If the client is experiencing any of these issues, especially with TAB & LF, which means they cannot proceed with the orders before or after picking.

They can change it to a different one (likely LF). Let them change it to a different one and try again

Step 02 Workaround

  • This manual is for hand scanners only.
  • Provide them the instructions of "Hardware Turn on scanner function [EN].pdf"
  • Once they change the configuration of the hand scanners and confirm its working.
  • You can close the ticket.
