PrintNode/Printer Management

  • PrintNode is a cloud-based printing service that allows developers and businesses to integrate printing capabilities into their applications and systems. It offers a simple and reliable API that enables users to send print jobs from various platforms, such as web applications, mobile apps, desktop applications, and more, to remote printers anywhere in the world.


  • To use PrintNode, you typically need to sign up for an account, obtain an API key, and then integrate the API into your application or system. This allows you to interact with printers and send print jobs programmatically, making it convenient for businesses with specific printing requirements or complex printing workflows.


  • For New customers in their PrintNode has 7 processes which needs to run
  1. PrintReport
  2. GetScaleWeight
  3. PrintShippingLabel
  4. PrintShippingLabelPrint
  5. PrintShippingLabelRequest
  6. Reprint
  7. BatchPrintLabels


Step 01 Workaround

  1. If not provided thru client email. Do probing questions such as: 
  • Scanner Printer name
  • Document/Label Name
  • Actual Printer Name


  1. Login thru https://api.printnode.com/app/login using client account

           If the client account cannot be found use our admin account "PrintNode admin_1" and after login, on the bottom-left click Act as Child account, and pick the corespondent client account. 

  1. Check if the Printer that they mentioned is existing and the computer is Connected. 


  1. Check OMS > Printers and see if the printer is online If yes.


  1. Email the client our technical Manual Printer (PrintNode). To restart their system.


  1. If the client is asking for a login to their PrintNode website. You can view it through Zoho Vault web UI.
  • Open Zoho vault 
  • Search for Clients account
  • Click the 3 dots. Copy username and password as example below. 
  • Share it with our client.
