Modifying Batch Cart

  • In a batch-picking order process, products will be manufactured in groups. Each stage of the production process will only begin once the previous one has finished for each product, and this means that large groups of products will be finished at the same time.
  • Industrial carts and pallet carts are commonly used by warehouses and factories, often carrying containers bins, and boxes. Generally, these carts are used to transfer, transport, or reposition warehouse materials from one area to another

Step 01: PROCESS

  • Check OMS
  • Go to WMS Setup 
  • Check all “Batch Cart List” 
  • Note: You will see some existing batch carts and when checking the details different batch carts have different delivery methods which pertain to the request of Batch cart “Label” or “Description”
  • If the user requests to delete or rename the existing batch cart it’s possible. 
  • For deleting the batch cart go to the 3 dots and choose the delete button. 
  • For renaming the existing batch cart go to the 3 dots and choose details. Click the + sign to edit the batch cart information. 
  • Edit Batch Cart “Label” and “Description” the Strategy Enum, First Order by, Second Order by, (Optional) Third order by, can be a mirror to the existing as they will follow this process.
  • You will then see the details of the existing batch carts bins with “Sequence, Weight, Count, etc., 
  • You will need to edit the Label per column. REMINDER: Make sure to follow the “Allowed Delivery Methods” on each Label as per the client’s request. 
  • Once the Label name has been renamed successfully and all Label name has been updated with the correct delivery methods Hit the save button.

For EMOB

If the client is requesting to create a batch cart for a specific scanner account. 

For EMOB you will need to create 2 carts, The normal one and one for delivery. Please note, the first three letters are standard. After that, the letters of the account. Use DLV as the default

1 for account and 1 for account + DLV. Example below.

Step 02: PROCESS


  • Check OMS
  • Go to WMS Setup 
  • Go to Batch Cart (below)
  • Click the add icon to create a batch cart 
  • "Add a new record" - Feed in the data in the record (Mirror the funtionalities in 1 of the created batch carts)
  • Label name should be the account name
  • Create 55 Label inside batch cart bins for RHA 1-55 Label and 50 DeliveryLabel Bins LVRHA DLV1-DLV50.
  • Functionalities insdie batch cart bins is the same for all.
  • Once done save and inform EMOB.
