Generate B2C Order Delivery Note or No Delivery Note
- A delivery note, also known as a packing slip or delivery receipt, is a document that accompanies a shipment of goods. It provides details about the contents of the shipment and serves as a confirmation of the items delivered.
- If a client is looking for the delivery note of a particular sales order as support you must check the order status. Perhaps the Delivery note is not in Exact.
Step 01 Workaround
- Check OMS
- Open Packing slip > Order Label (Sales order)
- Check the status of Packed and Shipping units if both have a value of = 0
- This means the order is not shipped but perhaps on-picked instead.
- Send the screenshot to the client and inform the client that the orders are still on-picked, and they must ship it to get the delivery note.
- “Use my email on the reference ticket if needed”
- Let the client know that they need to ship the order through a scanner.
- Wait for client response if successful. If yes, close the ticket.
Step 02 Template for No delivery note
Hi ___,
Good day,
As per checking the Order ___ is still on picked and must be ship. Once you ship the order you will then get the delivery note.
This is a reason, why this order was not updated in Exact.
Could you please use scanner for shipping.
Kindly let us know what happens.
