Hardware Issues
For hardware related issues on PM scanners, follow the procedures below:
- For Point Mobile scanners with problems, create a ticket directly at the repair center at https://qmoss.repairportal.com/en/orders
- You have to register once with this account. You can then create the report/issue and track the progress.
Below is the more detailed text from QMOSS:
- For defective devices, customers can at all times do a one-time registration themselves at the QMOSS repair center.
- Once they have done this in the portal, they can use a login account to easily check the status and register any other devices.
- They can then receive instructions on where to send the device.
- They will also receive any repair costs after analysis.
If the scanner is acting strange or unable to scan any barcode, the advice is to factory reset the scanners.
