OMS XLS Location and Barcode import
- In general, for an item scanned at checkout, you would put the barcode in the lower right-hand section of the back of the package. Avoid the edge of the package and allow enough white space surrounding the barcode to help to ensure a clean scan.
- Sometimes the client will send a fill-up template. Make sure they use the correct template below. If a Column is empty kindly delete it. Make the Excel file clean and avoid adding new names from “Location Manager”. If the client hasn’t sent anything provide the template to the client and ask them to fill it up. You can manually edit the file if they provide the Barcode and Location in the email.

You may check the OMS > Location Manager to check the Available Companies, Warehouses, and Locations. Check it from the left side to see the Zone and Sequence. Example of barcode below:
In the file should be:
correct company name+ correct headers + no other columns.
So, more safety to take original template file and always check company name with Location Manager.

Step 01 Workaround
- Check OMS
- Check Location Manager
- Confirmed that the Excel file and the Location manager have the same details with “Company and Warehouse” if correct.
- Open File import (File Import List)
- Check the XLS Location in the list – On Means Activated
- Off means “Disabled”
- Double Click. Referee to the image >
- Drag the correct Excel file and Click Process
- Make sure the Excel file data is correct
Before uploading it to XLS Location
- Once done. Check the file if successfully
Uploaded. Go to OMS > Message Log
- Filter out the Server Task > XLS Location
- Filter out the Date from “today’s date”
- The image you need to see is like this.
- When XLSlocation has been succesfully upload inform "Gabriel or Luis in GC" to create the barcode.
- If the file import was successfull and didn't update correctly use the exisiting XLS file of the client and use that one. Change the file inside with the exisiting correct one upload it again.

Also take note – If the template you used didn’t succeed, you can export the existing file from the location manager and use that one just make sure you update the inside of the file before exporting it.
You may also use the existing file from the "Location Manager".
